Internet access

Koh Lipe has no direct cable connection to the mainland, which can make internet access a challenge. We provide the best connection available, and it runs smoothly about 98.5% of the time. If you need a constant, reliable connection, we recommend buying a SIM card as a backup.

SIM cards with various speeds and data limits are sold at 7-Eleven and the phone shops on Koh Lipe. Remember to bring your passport. We currently recommend a TRUE or DTAC SIM card.
