ATMs and credit cards

There are several ATMs on Koh Lipe, and they generally work. But since they are all run by the same bank, one technical issue can affect all of them at once, so we recommend bringing some cash as a backup.

At The Reef you can pay by credit card on arrival, but please note that we charge a 3.5% fee, which is what the bank charges us for this service. About 40% of the shops on Koh Lipe accept credit cards.
